Favio Contreras

He was born in 1974 in the city of Lima. His specialty is making masks. The material that he uses are: Paper mache, chalk, fabric and bamboo. Because of his concern about the conservation of the forests, he uses recycled paper as much as possible. His love of making masks emerged from visiting various museums of Lima; where he was fascinated by the masks which were inspired in the rich peruvian cultures. He took various classes of his specialty in the Art Museum of Lima. At the present, he is teaching his art to a new generation, which he loves and dominates so much.
