Teófilo Aylas

He was born in Quinua, Ayacucho in 1969. According to his own words: he learned the art of ceramics like playing. Then then he migrated to Lima for love and because he had to make a living.

In Lima he perfected his art, which includes a great range of pottery such as masks, churches, jewel containers and mainly nativity scenes, which are his favorites.

He has been invited to exhibit in the National Museum and to participate in the Inti Raymic contest, an invitation only event.
