Julio Gallardo

He was born in 1979 in Lima. For the past 5 years he has been making the Ayacuchan retablos. He belongs to the School of the great Master Nicacio Jimenez.

He is self-taught and always is trying to improve his technique as well as the materials that he uses.

Also he makes trunks, glass holders, trays and flower pot stands. He has three times won the Santuran Tikuy competition that takes place the 24 of December of every year in the city of Cusco.
